Drops have to be ordered so the route flows rather than doubles back, loading has to happen in reverse delivery order so the driver is not unpacking the whole van at every stop, and any site with a restricted receiving window has to anchor the plan around it. Multi Drop Delivery: common questions
How many drops fit in a day?
It is governed by geography and dwell time at each stop, not by a fixed number. Tight urban rounds with quick handovers manage a great many; rural rounds or drops needing a signature from a specific person manage far fewer. Send us the list and we will tell you realistically.
What happens when a drop fails?
The driver records the reason, we tell you the same day, and we agree whether it comes back or gets re-attempted. What you should not accept from any carrier is discovering a failed drop weeks later on an invoice query.
Can you run our existing round?
Yes, and taking over an established round is straightforward because the sequence and the site knowledge already exist. We normally run it alongside your current arrangement for a short period rather than switching everything overnight.
Is it cheaper than individual deliveries?
